TeamSizzle Essay Contest

Topic:  "Why I am Excited About SISEL"

Rules, Guidelines, Procedures:

1. Submit a 500-1000 word essay to before the contest deadline (August 31st, 2008).
2. When you submit your essay you must also be willing to have your essay posted on the TeamSizzle.com website, used in weekly TeamSizzle newsletters and possibly used by SISEL International.
3. The essay may be submitted as a Word DOC, RTF or TXT file attachment to an email or may be submitted as the body/message of the email.  Text formatting (bold, italic, etc.) may or may not be retained if the essay is published.
4. When submitting your entry, please clearly identify that the entry is for the "TeamSizzle Essay Contest" and include your full name, SISEL ID (if issued), TeamSizzle ID and any other contact information we may need.
5. Prize winners must be TeamSizzle members, either enrolled in SISEL (if your country is open) or have a TeamSizzle ID and have faxed or emailed a SISEL application to the TeamSizzle office (consult your sponsor or email the address above).
6. Entries may be in any language, but must be accompanied by an English translation.  Judges will take into consideration that translation is not always ideal.
7. Entries must be submitted by August 31st, 2008 unless the contest is extended.
8. The contest may continue beyond the current deadline until at least 50 entries are submitted - so encourage your downline to submit their essays.
9. More than one entry may be submitted by the same person, but only one prize will be awarded per person (i.e. you can't win 2nd and 4th place).
10. Multiple prizes (i.e. 2nd and 4th place) for multiple entries may be awarded to members of the same household or people sharing a SISEL ID number (ie. husband and wife, business partners, etc.).  Only one prize will be awarded per winning essay.
11. In the event of a tie (ex. tie for 3rd place) two prizes (ex. 3rd and 4th) will be combined and split as equally as possible.
12. TeamSizzle will pay for the prizes and shipping to the winners' country, however the winner will be responsible for any duties, taxes, and/or customs fees.
13. If we are unable to ship the products to the winner, an amount equal to the retail value of the prize will be sent to the winner.
14. Initial judges will consist of 2 SISEL distributors (who are not eligible to enter) and 2 other people who are not SISEL distributors. The judges will select 5 essays as finalists.
15. Darick Mower will judge and award prizes to the 5 finalists.
16. Authors' names will be hidden from the judges and Darick but will be included (unless otherwise requested) when published.
17. When writing about the effects of the SISEL products please avoid specific claims of healing or medical affects.
    • Bad:  "SISEL's X put my cancer into remission."
    • Bad:  "SISEL's Y helped me regrow my severed finger."
    • Good:  "SISEL's X made me feel more healthful and energetic."
    • Good:  "SISEL's X seemed to help me sleep better and wake up refreshed."
18. Do not plagiarize!  Your essay must be a completely original work although you may include quotes from others so long as they are properly cited and credited.
19. Judging is purely subjective and there are no fixed guidelines, formats or rules for the content of the essays other than what has been mentioned above.
20. Although there is an element chance, this contest does not entirely constitute a game of chance.  This contest is not available where prohibited.  Potential entrants should review the laws of their country and region to ascertain whether it is legal to participate in this contest. Each entrant assumes full responsibility for their participation.
21. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age in their country to be allowed to enter this type of contest.  Void where prohibited.

Awards:
