One of the most frequent questions we hear in TeamSizzle is, "How do I get people to visit my website?"

One method is the tried and true Banner Ad. A banner ad is an ad placed somewhere on a web page, usually at the top or bottom of the page. Good banner ads are designed to quickly capture attention, generate interest and direct the viewer to perform an action - ideally to click on the ad and visit a website.

There are several services on the Internet that match up advertisers with websites which display the banner ads. As our primary job in SISEL is to advertise and sell products, we are the advertisers.

Banner ads are usually sold by "views" or "impressions." Typical pricing will be quoted in CPM or Cost Per 1000 (Roman numeral "M" = 1000). Sometimes they are quoted in CPC or Cost Per Click. Google's AdWords program is a good example of a CPC program (also called a PPC or Pay Per Click program).

You will then need to upload the image into the banner ad service (create an account with each desired service) and then set it to go to your TeamSizzle.com website when a viewer clicks on the ad.

Banner ads are a great way to attract visitors to your TeamSizzle.com website and introduce them to SISEL. They work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for you and are a way to automate your advertising.

** MLM is a BUSINESS! **

Have you seen those ads for other companies or home/Internet business opportunities that advertise "no customers", "no sales", "we do all the work", etc.?

At first they seem enticing, but when you look into the actual business model being promoted you usually find one of two things. Either they are highly questionable "businesses" (stuffing envelopes anyone?) or they are really doing a bit of false advertising.

My favorite are the "we do all the work" ads. Whenever I see one of those, I always think to myself, "great, so what do you need me for?"

That just does not make sense from a business perspective. You HAVE to do something to add value to the business. They are not going to give you money for NOTHING - despite their claims and promises.

The perspective that we need to have as SISEL distributors is that our distributorships are BUSINESSES.

MLM and network marketing distributorships - no matter which company - are BUSINESSES and should be operated as businesses.

One of the great things about a MLM business is that it is truly one of the simplest businesses to operate - notice I did not say "easy" but "simple." It DOES take WORK to SUCCEED.

They are simple because you have no employees, no payroll taxes, no HR headaches, no service to perform, no products to manufacture, test, warehouse, inventory or ship, very little accounting and a professional customer service department.

Plus most good MLM companies encourage customers to enroll in an AutoPurchase program so that they can receive products on a regular basis - and you receive commissions on a regular basis. The IDEAL automated business.

Your "job" as a MLM distributor is simply to advertise your products, market them and sell them to customers. Your company does all the rest. Plus we have two types of "products" to market. In SISEL we have both an amazing catalog of safe, healthy, effective products AND we have a world-class business opportunity.

We can choose to market either or both of these types of products.

We all must focus on marketing to customers. Without customers there is no business, no sales and no commissions. Finding customers for our business is our primary goal. Sometimes these customers are just product users. Other times they are both product users and business partners.

As people use the great SISEL products they naturally want to tell others. When they tell others they are really doing OUR job. So we encourage them to enroll as a distributor and start earning commissions for their recommendations just as we do.

This provides us both commissions from product sales plus the power and leverage of the downline structure. We are able to earn additional commissions from those business partners who also become SISEL distributors.

It's really that simple.

But we all need to remember that our SISEL distributorship is a BUSINESS. We sell products to customers (EVERY business HAS to have sales) and we sift our customers for those who may also be interested in starting and running their own SISEL business.

A SISEL business may not be right for everyone and we certainly don't want to misrepresent the effort and work it takes to run a SISEL business. There is no "we do all the work" in SISEL. That is a false promise. What we do say is "we will work together to help YOU make your SISEL business a success."

** Improve Your Nutrition, Improve Your Health **

A recent article in USA newspapers announced that a new study shows over 51% of Americans take medications for chronic health issues.

Reading that astounded me! More than 1/2 of all men, women AND children in the USA are taking prescription medicines for chronic illnesses.

I wasn't so amazed that that many people were taking medicines, but I was truly amazed that that many people had CHRONIC illnesses such that they had to take medicines.

Why are so many people chronically ill?

Without going into tons of research and piles of scientific studies, I think we can identify a few reasons why so many people may be suffering from these chronic illnesses.

The first thing that comes to mind is the many pollutants in our "modern" world. We are literally surrounded by poisons. They are in so many of the products we surround ourselves with that we hardly even take notice anymore.

And it seems that every day we see new studies and warnings about another substance that was thought to be harmless but has been shown to be dangerous to our health. How much do these known and unknown poisons contribute to the chronic health problems experience by so many people? How can we avoid these known and hidden poisons?

Maybe we just can't. So what do we do?
